Polaran A.Ş. is an SME founded in 2011 with the mission to develop IP around polar coding and related technologies for high performance communication systems. The company engages both in fundamental research and implementation of novel algorithms. Polaran engineers broke a world record last year by producing a polar encoder/decoder capable of operating at 1000Gb/s data rate in 16nm ASIC technology using only 1mm2 silicon area and 1W (1pJ/b) power dissipation.
